What are the uses of Natural Filler ?

We have introduced natural filler for natural & color weaving tapes, blown film, cast films, injection and blow molding products to impart dimensional stability and reduce cost. Ultrafine Sodium/talc is used with carrier resin & additives to impart flexibility with improved impact strength. It manufactures Natural Filler, using micro particles of natural, surface-coated, fine and easy to disperse natural-hydrated magnesium silicate talc mineral with special dispersion additives and carrier resins.

FAQ's About Natural Filler

A Natural Filler is an additive used in plastic compounding, typically derived from naturally occurring, renewable sources such as minerals, fibers, or agricultural by-products. These fillers are incorporated into plastics to improve mechanical properties, reduce weight, or decrease production costs.
Natural Fillers, like cellulose and calcium carbonate, can be used in food-contact plastics if they meet relevant safety and regulatory standards, such as those specified by the FDA or EU regulations. It’s important to verify the specific filler’s compliance with food safety standards before use in packaging or products intended for food contact.
Yes, Natural Fillers are commonly used in bioplastics such as PLA, PHA, and starch-based plastics. They help improve the strength, durability, and processability of bioplastics while maintaining the sustainability and biodegradability of the final product.
Generally, Natural Fillers do not hinder the recyclability of plastic products, especially mineral-based fillers like calcium carbonate. However, the presence of natural fibers or fillers may complicate the recycling process, depending on the material. Ensuring proper sorting and processing is key to maintaining recyclability.
Some Natural Fillers, such as cellulose and calcium carbonate, can be used in food-contact plastics if they meet relevant food safety standards. It's essential to ensure that the specific filler complies with regulations like those set by the FDA or European Union for food packaging.
